1. 🐋🐬मछुआरों की समस्या🐬🐋
मछलियाँ सालों से जापानियों की प्रिय खाद्य पदार्थ रही हैं. वे इसे अपने भोजन का एक अभिन्न अंग मानते हैं. ताज़ी मछलियों का स्वाद उन्हें बहुत पसंद हैं. लेकिन तटों पर मछलियों के अभाव के कारण मछुआरों को समुद्र के बीच जाकर मछलियाँ पकड़नी पड़ती हैं.
शुरुवाती दिनों में जब मछुआरे मछलियाँ पकड़ने बीच समुद्र में जाते, तो वापस आते-आते बहुत देर हो जाती और मछलियाँ बासी हो जाती. यह उनके लिए एक बड़ी समस्या बन गई क्योंकि लोग बासी मछलियाँ ख़रीदने से कतराते थे.
इस समस्या का निराकरण मछुआरों ने अपनी बोट में फ्रीज़र लगवाकर किया. वे मछलियाँ पकड़ने के बाद उन्हें फ्रीज़र में डाल देते थे. इससे मछलियाँ लंबे समय तक ताज़ी बनी रहती थी. लेकिन लोगों ने फ्रीज़र में रखी मछलियों का स्वाद पहचान लिया. वे ताज़ी मछलियों की तरह स्वादिष्ट नहीं लगती थी. लोग उन्हें ख़ास पसंद नहीं करते थे और ख़रीदना नहीं चाहते थे.
मछुआरों के मध्य इस समस्या का हल निकालने के किये फिर से सोच-विचार की प्रक्रिया प्रारंभ हुई. आख़िरकार इसका हल भी मिल गया. सभी मछुआरों ने अपनी बोट में फिश टैंक बनवा लिया. मछलियाँ पकड़ने के बाद वे उन्हें पानी से भरे फिश टैंक में डाल देते. इस तरह वे ताज़ी मछलियाँ बाज़ार तक लाने लगे. लेकिन इसमें भी एक समस्या आ खड़ी हुई.
फिश टैंक में मछलियाँ कुछ देर तक इधर-उधर विचरण करती. लेकिन ज्यादा जगह न होने के कारण कुछ देर बाद स्थिर हो जाती. मछुआरे जब किनारे तक पहुँचते, तो वे सांस तो ले रही होती थी. लेकिन समुद्री जल में स्वतंत्र विचरण करने वाली मछलियों वाला स्वाद उनमें नहीं होता था. लोग चखकर ये अंतर कर लेते थे.
ये मछुआरों के लिए फिर से परेशानी का सबब बन गई. इतनी कोशिश करने के बाद भी समस्या का कोई स्थाई हल नहीं निकल पा रहा था.
फिर से उनकी बैठक हुई और सोच-विचार प्रारंभ हुआ. सोच-विचार कर जो हल निकाला गया, उसके अनुसार मछुआरों ने मछलियाँ पकड़कर फिश टैंक में डालना जारी रखा. लेकिन साथ में उन्होंने एक छोटी शार्क मछली भी टैंक में डालनी शुरू कर दी.
शार्क मछलियाँ कुछ मछलियों को मारकर खा जाती थी. इस तरह कुछ हानि मछुआरों को ज़रूर होती थी. लेकिन जो मछलियाँ किनारे तक पहुँचती थी, उनमें स्फूर्ती और ताजगी बनी रहती थी. ऐसा शार्क मछली के कारण होता था.
क्योंकि शार्क मछली के डर से मछलियाँ पूरे समय अपनी जान बचाने सावधान और चौकन्नी रहती थी. इस तरह टैंक में रहने के बाबजूद वे ताज़ी रहती थीं.इस तरकीब से जापानी मछुआरों ने अपनी समस्या का समाधान कर लिया.
मित्रों, जब तक हमारी जिंदगी में शार्क रूपी चुनौतियाँ नहीं आती, हमारा जीवन टैंक में पड़ी मछलियों की तरह ही होता है – बेजान और नीरस. हम सांस तो ले रही होते हैं, लेकिन हममें जिंदादिली नहीं होती. हम बस एक ही रूटीन से बंध कर रह जाते हैं. धीरे-धीरे हम इसके इतने आदी हो जाते हैं कि चुनौतियाँ आने पर बड़ी जल्दी उसके सामने दम तोड़ देते हैं या हार मान जाते हैं. धीरे-धीरे चुनौतियों और मेहनत के डर से हम बड़े सपने देखना छोड़ देते हैं और हालातों से समझौता कर साधारण जीवन व्यतीत करने लगते हैं. यदि जीवन में बड़ी और असाधारण सफ़लता हासिल करनी है, तो बड़े सपने देखने होंगें. सपनों को वास्तविकता में परिवर्तित करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत करनी होगी, चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए खुद को तैयार करना होगा. तब ही बड़ी और असाधारण सफ़लता की प्राप्ति होगी.
2.✍️भगवान की मदद✍️
किसी गांव में दो मित्र रोहन और संदीप रहते थे। रोहन बहुत ज्यादा धार्मिक धार्मिक प्रवृत्ति का था। और वो मानता था कि भगवान उसका हर काम कर देंगे। दूसरी ओर संदीप बहुत ज्यादा मेहनत करता था।
एक बार दोनों ने मिलकर कुछ जमीन खरीदी जिस पर दोनों ने मिलकर फसल उगाने की सोची।
अब संदीप तो दिनभर खेत में मेहनत करता लेकिन रोहन कुछ काम नहीं करता, वो केवल मंदिर में जाकर भगवान से अच्छी फसल के लिए प्रार्थना करता।
इसी तरह समय बीतता गया और खेत की फसल पककर तैयार हो गई।
इसे दोनों ने बाजार में ले जाकर बेच दिया जिससे उनको अच्छा खासा पैसा मिला। घर आकर संदीप ने रोहन से कहा, “देखो दोस्त खेत में मैंने ज्यादा मेहनत की है इसलिए इस धन का ज्यादा हिस्सा मुझे मिलना चाहिए।”
संदीप की बात सुनकर रोहन बोला, “नहीं-नहीं इस धन का ज्यादा हिस्सा मुझे मिलना चाहिए। क्योंकि मैंने ही अच्छी फसल के लिए भगवान से प्रार्थना की थी। तभी हमको अच्छी फसल हुई है। मेरी प्रार्थना के बिना यह संभव नहीं होता।”
इसी बात को लेकर दोनों गांव के मुखिया के पास चले गए।
मुखिया ने उन दोनों की बात सुनकर कुछ सोचा और दोनों को एक एक बोरा चावल का दिया, जिनमें कंकड़ मिले हुए थे। और कहा कि तुम दोनों को इनमें से चावल और कंकड़ अलग-अलग करके लाना है। तभी मैं निर्णय करूंगा कि फसल के धन का ज्यादा हिस्सा किसको मिलना चाहिए।
दोनों दोस्त चावल की बोरी लेकर अपने अपने घर चले गए। संदीप ने तो रात भर जागकर चावल और कंकड़ को अलग कर दिया।
रोहन अपनी आदत के अनुसार चावल की बोरी को मंदिर में लेकर गया और भगवान से इसे साफ करने में मदद मांगी। भगवान से इसे साफ करने की प्रार्थना करके आराम से सो गया।
अगले दिन सुबह संदीप चावल और कंकड़ को अलग-अलग करके उसे मुखिया के पास लेकर चला गया।
रोहन भी बोरी को मंदिर से उठाकर वापस मुखिया के घर ले आया। रोहन को पूरा भरोसा था कि भगवान ने उसका काम कर दिया होगा।
अब मुखिया ने दोनों से पूछा कि बताओ तुमने कितने चावल साफ किए। इस पर संदीप ने तो जितने थे उतने बता दिए।
रोहन ने भी पूरे आत्मविश्वास के साथ अपने बोरी खोली, लेकिन उसकी बोरी में वैसे के वैसे चावल में कंकर पत्थर मिले हुए थे। बिल्कुल साफ नहीं किये।
अब मुखिया सारी बात समझ चुका था कि रोहन बिल्कुल मेहनत नहीं करता है। इसीलिए अनाज के धन में भी कम हिस्सा मिलना चाहिए।
गांव के मुखिया ने रोहन को समझाया कि भगवान भी तभी तुम्हारी मदद करता है जब तुम कड़ी मेहनत करते हो। हर काम में तुम भगवान के भरोसे बैठे रहोगे और मेहनत नहीं करोगे तो इस दुनिया में पीछे रह जाओगे।
रोहन को मुखिया की बात समझ में आ चुकी थी वह भी संदीप के साथ साथ जमकर मेहनत करने लग गया।
Moral of the story:
इस कहानी से हमें यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि भगवान से प्रार्थना करना ठीक है लेकिन साथ ही साथ हमें कड़ी मेहनत भी करनी है। आपकी किस्मत तभी चमकेगी जब आप अपना सौ प्रतिशत देंगे।
वो कहते हैं ना कि-

बता तेरी रजा क्या है?

3.The Black Dot
एक दिन एक प्रोफेसर ने कक्षा में प्रवेश किया और अपने छात्रों को एक आश्चर्यजनक परीक्षा की तैयारी करने के लिए कहा। वे परीक्षण शुरू होने के लिए अपने डेस्क पर उत्सुकता से इंतजार कर रहे थे। प्रोफेसर कक्षा के चारों ओर चले गए और नीचे की ओर का सामना कर रहे प्रश्न पत्र के साथ प्रश्नपत्र सौंपा।
एक बार जब उसने उन सभी को बाहर कर दिया, तो उसने अपने छात्रों को पृष्ठ चालू करने और शुरू करने के लिए कहा। सभी को आश्चर्यचकित करने के लिए, कोई सवाल नहीं था, लेकिन पृष्ठ के केंद्र में सिर्फ एक काली बिंदु था। प्रोफ़ेसर ने सभी के मनोभावों को अच्छी तरह से पढ़ा और कहा- "मैं चाहता हूं कि आप वहीं देखें जो आप लिखते हैं।"
उत्तीर्ण छात्र वही करने लगे, जो उन्हें करने के लिए कहा गया था।
कक्षा के अंत में, प्रोफेसर ने सभी उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं को ले लिया और उनमें से प्रत्येक को सभी छात्रों के सामने जोर से पढ़ना शुरू कर दिया। बिना किसी अपवाद के सभी ने काले बिंदु का वर्णन किया, शीट के बीच में अपनी स्थिति समझाने की कोशिश की, आदि सभी को पढ़ने के बाद, कक्षा चुप, प्रोफेसर ने व्याख्या करना शुरू किया:

4.💎चमकीले नीले पत्थर की कीमत
एक शहर में बहुत ही ज्ञानी प्रतापी साधु महाराज आये हुए थे, बहुत से दीन दुखी, परेशान लोग उनके पास उनकी कृपा दृष्टि पाने हेतु आने लगे. ऐसा ही एक दीन दुखी, गरीब आदमी उनके पास आया और साधु महाराज से बोला ‘ महाराज में बहुत ही गरीब हूँ, मेरे ऊपर कर्जा भी है, मैं बहुत ही परेशान हूँ। मुझ पर कुछ उपकार करें’.
साधु महाराज ने उसको एक चमकीला नीले रंग का पत्थर दिया, और कहा ‘कि यह कीमती पत्थर है, जाओ जितनी कीमत लगवा सको लगवा लो। वो आदमी वहां से चला गया और उसे बचने के इरादे से अपने जान पहचान वाले एक फल विक्रेता के पास गया और उस पत्थर को दिखाकर उसकी कीमत जाननी चाही।
फल विक्रेता बोला ‘मुझे लगता है ये नीला शीशा है, महात्मा ने तुम्हें ऐसे ही दे दिया है, हाँ यह सुन्दर और चमकदार दिखता है, तुम मुझे दे दो, इसके मैं तुम्हें 1000 रुपए दे दूंगा।
वो आदमी निराश होकर अपने एक अन्य जान पहचान वाले के पास गया जो की एक बर्तनों का व्यापारी था. उनसे उस व्यापारी को भी वो पत्थर दिखाया और उसे बचने के लिए उसकी कीमत जाननी चाही। बर्तनो का व्यापारी बोला ‘यह पत्थर कोई विशेष रत्न है में इसके तुम्हें 10,000 रुपए दे दूंगा. वह आदमी सोचने लगा की इसके कीमत और भी अधिक होगी और यह सोच वो वहां से चला आया.
उस आदमी ने इस पत्थर को अब एक सुनार को दिखाया, सुनार ने उस पत्थर को ध्यान से देखा और बोला ये काफी कीमती है इसके मैं तुम्हें 1,00,000 रूपये दे दूंगा।
वो आदमी अब समझ गया था कि यह बहुत अमुल्य है, उसने सोचा क्यों न मैं इसे हीरे के व्यापारी को दिखाऊं, यह सोच वो शहर के सबसे बड़े हीरे के व्यापारी के पास गया।उस हीरे के व्यापारी ने जब वो पत्थर देखा तो देखता रह गया, चौकने वाले भाव उसके चेहरे पर दिखने लगे. उसने उस पत्थर को माथे से लगाया और और पुछा तुम यह कहा से लाये हो. यह तो अमुल्य है. यदि मैं अपनी पूरी सम्पति बेच दूँ तो भी इसकी कीमत नहीं चुका सकता.
✅कहानी से सीख:
हम अपने आप को कैसे आँकते हैं. क्या हम वो हैं जो राय दूसरे हमारे बारे में बनाते हैं. आपकी लाइफ अमूल्य है आपके जीवन का कोई मोल नहीं लगा सकता. आप वो कर सकते हैं जो आप अपने बारे में सोचते हैं. कभी भी दूसरों के नेगेटिव कमैंट्स से अपने आप को कम मत आकियें.
5.✍️एक किसान की कहानी
एक बहुत मेहनती किसान था वह बहुत मेहनत से अपने खेत की रक्षा करता था, बीज बोता था, फसल उगाता था, उसको काटता था और पैसे कमाता था.
बड़ा ईमानदार था वह अपने काम के अंदर लेकिन धीरे-धीरे उसका खेत बहुत बड़ा हो गया.
बहुत पैसे उसने कमा लिया तो आसपास की जमीन भी उसने खरीद लिया.
अब उसको किसी के सपोर्ट की ज़रूरत थी.
अब उसको लगा मेरे अकेले से इतना ढेर सारा काम नहीं होगा तो मुझे किसी ना किसी को काम पर रखना होगा.
उस किसान ने बहुत सारे लोगों का इंटरव्यू लिया.
किसान ने लोगों से पूछा कि आपको एग्रीकल्चर के बारे में क्या नॉलेज है यानी आपको खेती-बाड़ी का कौन-सा काम आता है.
तो सब लोगों ने उसको अलग-अलग जवाब दिए.
उसको किसी का जवाब समझ नहीं आया तो उसने सभी को मना कर दिया.
किसान ने एक लड़के से सवाल किया कि इस काम में क्या करोगे और इस काम को कैसे करोगे.
तो उस लड़के ने बड़ा अटपटा जवाब दिया किसान को समझ में नहीं आया पर उसके अटपटे जवाब के कारण उस लड़के को काम पर रख लिया.
किसान ने सवाल किया आप क्या करोगे उस लड़के ने जवाब दिया जब बहुत तेज हवा चलेगी तो मैं सो जाऊंगा (I Can Sleep When The Wind Blows).
किसान को समझ में नहीं आया लेकिन उसके इस अटपटे जवाब के कारण उसको रख लिया.
अब इसका क्या मतलब है आगे देखते हैं.
अब वह दोनों खेत की रक्षा करने लगे और वह लड़का किसान को कामों में मदद करने लगा.
एक बार रात को किसान दौड़ते-दौड़ते उस लड़के को ढूँढा.
और किसान दौड़ते-दौड़ते गया क्योंकि बहुत तूफान आ गया किसान को लगा कि मेरी फसल खराब हो जाएगी और जितने भी जानवर है वह भाग जाएंगे.
किसान उस लड़के के पास गया तो वह लड़का सो रहा था.
किसान ने देखा कि यह वह लड़का सो रहा था.
किसान ने अपने मन में कहा कि देखो इस पागल आदमी को सो रहा है इसको तो खेतों की रक्षा करनी चाहिए जानवरों को सही तरीके से बाँधना चाहिए.
लेकिन किसान अंदर गया तो वह आराम से सो रहा था.
किसान ने उस लड़के से कहा उठ तुझे पता नहीं तेरा काम क्या है.
उस लड़के ने कहा मैंने तो कहा ही था जब बहुत तेज हवा चलेगी तो मैं सो जाऊंगा (I Can Sleep When The Wind Blows).
किसान ने कहा यह पागल बेवकूफ आदमी कहाँ मेरे पल्ले पड़ गया.
मैं खुद ही कर लेता हूँ यह जब तक जागेगा तब तक तो मैं काम खत्म कर लूंगा.
वह किसान फटाफट जाकर देखा जितने भी उस के जानवर थे वह सब बिल्कुल सही तरीके से उस लड़के ने पहले से बाँधकर रखे हुए थे.
और जितनी फसल थी उस लड़के ने उसकी अच्छी तरह से चौकीदारी करके पहले से रखी हुई थी.
लड़के ने किसान से कहा कि आप जाकर आराम से सो जाओ मैंने काम पहले से कर रखा है.
जब बहुत तेज हवा चलेगी तो मैं सो जाऊंगा (I Can Sleep When The Wind Blows) किसान को समझ में आया कि इसका बड़ा ही आसान मतलब यह था कि " जब परेशानी आएगी तब काम करने की ज़रूरत नहीं है काम उस से पहले करके रख लेना चाहिए."
और बहुत सारे लोगों का भी किसान जैसा ही मामला है जब मुसीबत आती है तभी काम करते हैं.
लेकिन हमें भी उस लड़के की तरह मुसीबत आने से पहले ही काम कर लेना चाहिए.
6.मजबूत इच्छाशक्ति की रोचक कहानी
काफी समय पहले की बात है,जॉन रेम्बलिंग नाम का एक इंजीनियर था,
यह 1883 की बात है।
उसके दिमाग में एक विचार आया कि मैं
न्यूयॉर्क और लोंग आईलैंड के बीच में एक पुल बनाना चाहता हूं।
तो उसकी इस बात पर किसी ने उसका विश्वास नहीं किया,
क्योंकि सभी को लगता था यह असंभव सा कार्य है
और यह नहीं हो सकता। इसलिए लोगों ने मान लिया था
कि यह नामुमकिन है, लेकिन जॉन को यह लगता था कि यह मुमकिन है।
उन्होंने अपने बेटे को मनाया और उसी के साथ लग गए
उनके पुत्र का नाम वाशिंगटन था दोनों बाप बेटे ने
एक साथ मिलकर इस पुल के हजारों नक्शे बनाए
और हर परिस्थिति का सामना करने करते हुए आगे बढ़ते रहे।
सब कुछ ठीक-ठाक चल रहा था।
निर्माण स्थल पर एक दुखद हादसे में जॉन रैंबो लिंग की मौत हो गई
और उनके पुत्र वाशिंगटन के दिमाग में कुछ ऐसा आघात लगा
कि वह बात करने लायक भी नहीं रहा।
तरह तरह की बातें लोग उनके बारे में करने लगे,
किसी ने भी उनके इस काम की सराहना नहीं की,
यहां तक कि कुछ समझदार लोगों ने यह भी कहा कि
इनको अब अपना बोरी बिस्तर समेट लेना चाहिए।
शारीरिक अपंगता के बाद भी वाशिंगटन परेशान नहीं हुआ
और इतना होने के बाद भी उत्साह और लगन से अपने पापा के
सपने को पूरा करने के लिए लग गया
एवं उसके पिता का शरीर पूरी तरह से खराब हो चुका था।
अस्पताल में लेटे हुए उनके माइंड में एक आइडिया कौंधा।
उन्होंने अपनी उंगली को हिला कर अपनी पत्नी से
बातचीत करने का अनोखा आईडिया इजाद किया और
इशारो इशारो में बात करने लगा और किस तरीके से
पुल को बनाया जा सकता है आप यकीन नहीं मानेंगे इस
काम को पूरा होने में तकरीबन 13 वर्ष लगे
पुल बनकर कंप्लीट हो गया और उस पुल का नाम ब्रुकलिन पुल है
, जो कि अपनी विशालता के चलते आज बहुत प्रसिद्ध है,
यह कहानी हमें बताती है कि इच्छाशक्ति अगर मजबूत हो तो,
नामुमकिन कुछ नहीं है, हार वो लोग मानते हैं जिनको खुद पर यकीन नहीं होता
सफल वह लोग होते हैं, जिनको खुद पर विश्वास होता है ।

7.✍️कोई काम छोटा या बड़ा नहीं होता है
एक समय की बात है गुरु अपने शिष्यों के साथ कहीं दूर जा रहे थे। रास्ता काफी लंबा था चलते – चलते सभी थक से गए थे। अब उन्हें विश्राम करने की इच्छा हुई , किंतु अगर विश्राम करते तो गंतव्य स्थल पर पहुंचने में अधिक रात हो जाती। इसलिए वह लोग निरंतर चल रहे थे। रास्ते में एक नाला आया जिस को पार करने के लिए लंबी छलांग लगानी थी। सभी लोगों ने लंबी छलांग लगाकर नाले को पार किया। किंतु गुरुजी का कमंडल उस नाले में गिर गया। सभी शिष्य परेशान हुए एक शिष्य गोपाल कमंडल निकालने के लिए सफाई कर्मचारी को ढूंढने चला गया। अन्य शिष्य बैठकर चिंता करने लगे , योजना बनाए लगे आखिर यह कमंडल कैसे निकाला जाए ?
गुरु जी परेशान होने लगे
क्योंकि गुरुजी ने सभी को स्वावलंबन का पाठ पढ़ाया था। उनकी सिख पर कोई भी शिष्य अमल नहीं कर रहा है। अंत तक वास्तव में कोई भी उस कार्य को करने के लिए अग्रसर नहीं हुआ , ऐसा देखकर गुरु जी काफी विचलित हुए। एक शिष्य मदन उठा और उसने नाले में हाथ लगा कर देखा , किंतु कमंडल दिखाई नहीं दिया। क्योंकि वह नाले के तह में जा पहुंचा था तभी मदन ने अपने कपड़े संभालते हुए नाले में उतरा और तुरंत कमंडल लेकर ऊपर आ गया।
गुरु जी ने अपने शिष्य मदन की खूब प्रशंसा की और भरपूर सराहना की उसने तुरंत कार्य को अंजाम दिया और गुरु द्वारा पढ़ाए गए पाठ पर कार्य किया। तभी शिष्य गोपाल जो सफाई कर्मचारी को ढूंढने गया था वह भी आ पहुंचा , उसे अपनी गलती का आभास हो गया था।
कोई भी कार्य छोटा या बड़ा नहीं होता है , अपना काम स्वयं करना चाहिए।
किसी भी संकट में होने के बावजूद भी दूसरे व्यक्तियों से मदद कम से कम लेना चाहिए।
8. हाथी की रस्सी
जब एक हाथी शिविर से गुजर रहा था, तो एक व्यक्ति ने देखा कि हाथी केवल एक छोटी रस्सी के साथ सुरक्षित थे जो एक टखने के चारों ओर बंधा हुआ था। उन्होंने सोचा कि हाथी रस्सी से क्यों नहीं टूटते, क्योंकि हाथी निश्चित रूप से ऐसा करने के लिए पर्याप्त मजबूत थे।

9.🐓🕊 चील और मुर्गी 🐓🕊
एक जंगल में बरगद का पेड़ था. उस पेड़ के ऊपर एक चील घोंसला बनाकर रहती थी जहाँ उसने अंडे दे रखे थे. उसी पेड़ के नीचे एक जंगली मुर्गी ने भी अंडे दे रखें थे. एक दिन उस चील के अंडों में से एक अंडा नीचे गिरा और मुर्गी के अंडों में जाकर मिल गया.
समय बीता अंडा फूटा और चील का बच्चा उस अंडे से निकला और वह यह सोचते बड़ा हुआ की वो एक मुर्गी है. वो मुर्गी के बांकी बच्चों के साथ बड़ा हुआ. वह उन्ही कामों को करता जिन्हें एक मुर्गी करती है. वो मुर्गी की तरह ही कुड़कुड़ाता, जमीन खोद कर दाने चुगता और वो इतना ही ऊँचा उड़ पाता जितना की एक मुर्गी उड़ती है.
एक दिन उसने आसमान में एक चील को देखा जो बड़ी शान से उड़ रही थी. उसने अपनी मुर्गी माँ से पूछा की उस चिड़िया का क्या नाम है जो इतना ऊँचा बड़ी शान से उड़ रही है. मुर्गी ने जबाब दिया वह एक चील है. फिर चील के बच्चे ने पूछा माँ मैं इतना ऊँचा क्यों नहीं उड़ पाता। मुर्गी बोली तुम इतना ऊँचा नहीं उड़ सकते क्योंकि तुम एक मुर्गे हो. उसने मुर्गी की बात मान ली और मुर्गे की जिंदगी जीता हुआ एक दिन मर गया.
कहानी से सीख:
जो भी हम सोचते हैं या कुछ नया करने की कोशिश करते हैं तो दूसरे हमें यह कहकर रोकते हैं कि तुम ऐसा नहीं कर सकते, ऐसा नहीं हो सकता और हम अपना इरादा यह सोचकर बदल लेते हैं कि वाकई मैं यह नहीं कर सकता और हार मान लेते हैं.
इसका मुख्य कारण है अपने ऊपर भरोसा न होना, अपनी शक्तिओं पर भरोसा न होना, अपने काम पर भरोसा न होना. दोस्तों जो लोग कहते हैं कहने दीजिये लोगों का काम है कहना, अपने आप पर भरोसा रखें, अपने आप को पहचाने. दोस्तों अगर जीत निश्चित हो तो कायर भी लड़ जाते हैं , बहादुर वो कहलाते हैं, जो हार निश्चित हो, फिर भी मैदान नहीं छोड़ते!
10.✍️मेंढकों की टोली🚧
एक मेंढकों की टोली जंगल के रास्ते से जा रही थी. अचानक दो मेंढक एक गहरे गड्ढे में गिर गये. जब दूसरे मेंढकों ने देखा कि गढ्ढा बहुत गहरा है तो ऊपर खड़े सभी मेढक चिल्लाने लगे ‘तुम दोनों इस गढ्ढे से नहीं निकल सकते, गढ्ढा बहुत गहरा है, तुम दोनों इसमें से निकलने की उम्मीद छोड़ दो.
उन दोनों मेढकों ने शायद ऊपर खड़े मेंढकों की बात नहीं सुनी और गड्ढे से निकलने की लिए लगातार वो उछलते रहे. बाहर खड़े मेंढक लगातार कहते रहे ‘ तुम दोनों बेकार में मेहनत कर रहे हो, तुम्हें हार मान लेनी चाहियें, तुम दोनों को हार मान लेनी चाहियें. तुम नहीं निकल सकते.
गड्ढे में गिरे दोनों मेढकों में से एक मेंढक ने ऊपर खड़े मेंढकों की बात सुन ली, और उछलना छोड़ कर वो निराश होकर एक कोने में बैठ गया. दूसरे मेंढक ने प्रयास जारी रखा, वो उछलता रहा जितना वो उछल सकता था.
बहार खड़े सभी मेंढक लगातार कह रहे थे कि तुम्हें हार मान लेनी चाहियें पर वो मेंढक शायद उनकी बात नहीं सुन पा रहा था और उछलता रहा और काफी कोशिशों के बाद वो बाहर आ गया. दूसरे मेंढकों ने कहा ‘क्या तुमने हमारी बात नहीं सुनी.
उस मेंढक ने इशारा करके बताया की वो उनकी बात नहीं सुन सकता क्योंकि वो बेहरा है सुन नहीं सकता, इसलिए वो किसी की भी बात नहीं सुन पाया. वो तो यह सोच रहा था कि सभी उसका उत्साह बढ़ा रहे हैं.
💎कहानी से सीख
1. जब भी हम बोलते हैं उनका प्रभाव लोगों पर पड़ता है, इसलिए हमेशा सकारात्मक बोलें.
2. लोग चाहें जो भी कहें आप अपने आप पर पूरा विश्वाश रखें और सकरात्मक सोचें.

11. बहादुर लड़की
बिहार के पटना जिले के पालीगंज गांव में एक बहुत ही प्यारी सी कन्या का जन्म हुआ। कन्या अत्यंत सुंदर थी , उसके माता-पिता अथवा रिश्तेदारों ने जन्म पर खुशियां मनाई , घर में उत्सव जैसा माहौल था। लेकिन कुछ रिश्तेदारों ने कन्या के जन्म की बात सुनी तो आलोचना करने लग गए कन्या का नामकरण उसके रूप व सौंदर्य के आधार पर ‘ विदुषी ‘रखा गया।
विदुषी बहुत ही सुंदर और चंचल स्वभाव की जो भी उसे देखता उससे आकर्षित हुए नहीं रह पाता , उसे गोद में लेकर प्यार करने लग जाता। उसके माता-पिता उसे बहुत स्नेह करते थे , अथवा उसे कलेजे से लगाए रखते थे। विदुषी अपने गांव – घर में किलकारियां मारती हुई खेलती – कूदती अथवा वात्सल्य रस लुटाती , तोतली बोली में अनेकों – अनेक गीत गुनगुनाती पलती – बढ़ती रही।
समय के साथ वह बड़ी होने लगी। उसके माता-पिता ने गांव के विद्यालय में ही दाखिला करवा दिया। वह पढ़ने लिखने में अव्वल थी। जो उसे कक्षा में और बच्चों से अलग करता था। वह जब केवल 8 वर्ष की हुई तभी उसके पिता जी का स्वर्गवास हो गया। फिर वह मानसिक रूप से परेशान रहने लगी , किंतु फिर भी वह पढ़ – लिख कर आगे बढ़ती रही उसे बचपन से ही क्रिकेट , फुटबॉल , व बॉलीबॉल आदि अनेक खेल खेलने का शौक था।
वह अभ्यास करती थी उसमे लगन था जिसके कारण वह एक राष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी भी बन गई। विदुषी एक साधारण परिवार में जन्मी थी। धन के अभाव से उसने हार नहीं मानी, उसने कॉलेज से लॉ / वकालत की परीक्षा भी पास कर ली। विदुषी की जिंदगी में एक मोड़ ऐसा आया कि जब वह एक परीक्षा देने के लिए ट्रेन से जा रही थी। रास्ते में असामाजिक तत्वों ने ट्रेन पर हमला कर दिया। विदुषी ने जब इसका पुरजोर विरोध किया तो , डाकुओं ने उसे ट्रेन से नीचे धकेल दिया। ‘इस कृत्य से उसका एक पैर ट्रेन की चपेट में आकर कट गया।
इसके बावजूद विदुषी ने हिम्मत नहीं हारी और निरंतर आगे बढ़ती रही। विदुषी अपने भाग्य के भरोसे न रहकर पूरे जीवन में मेहनत करती रही। उसके नेक इरादे ने एक दिन एवरेस्ट की चोटी भी लांघ दी अपने देश भारत का झंडा एवरेस्ट की चोटी पर गर्व से लहराता हुआ। विदुषी और उसके जज्बे को सलाम कर रहा था।
तात्पर्य यह है कि जब आपने लगन व तपस्या की भावना रहती है तो आपके लिए कोई भी कार्य असंभव नहीं रहता। जैसा कि विदुषी के साथ हुआ एक पैर ना होने पर भी। उसने एवरेस्ट की दुर्गम में चोटी पर चढ़कर यह साबित कर दिया कि मेहनत और लगन के आगे एवरेस्ट की चोटी भी राई के पहाड़ जैसी हो सकती है।

एक दिन, झगड़ालू परिवार की पत्नी ने शांत पडोसी परिवार से ईर्ष्या महसूस करते हुए अपने पति से कहा, “अपने पडोसी के वहा जाओ और देखो की इतने अच्छे तरीके से रहने के लिए वो क्या करते हैं।”
पति वहा गया, और छुप के चुपचाप देखने लगा।
उसने देखा कि एक औरत फर्श पर पोछा लगा रही हैं। अचानक किचन से कुछ आवाज आने पर वो किचन में चली गई।
तभी उसका पति एक रूम कि तरफ भागा। उसका ध्यान नहीं रहने के कारण फर्श पर रखी बाल्टी से ठोकर लगाने के कारण बाल्टी का सारा पानी फर्श पर फेल गया।
उसकी पत्नी किचन से वापिस आयी और अपने पति से बोली, “आई एम सॉरी, डार्लिंग। यह मेरी गलती थी कि मेने रास्ते से बाल्टी को नहीं हटाया।”
पति ने जवाब दिया, ” नहीं डार्लिंग, आई एम सॉरी। क्योकि मेने इस पर ध्यान नहीं दिया।”
झगड़ालू परिवार का पति जो छुपा हुआ था वापस घर लोट आया। तो उसकी पत्नी ने पडोसी की खुशहाली का राज पूछा।
पति ने जवाब दिया, “उनमे और हम में बस यही अंतर हैं कि हम हमेशा खुद सही होने कि कोशिश करते हैं… एक दूर को गलती के लिए जिम्मेदार ठहराते हैं। जबकि वो हर चीज़ के लिए खुद जिम्मेदार बनते हैं और अपनी गलती मानने के लिए तैयार रहते हैं।”
दोस्तों एक खुशहाल और शांतिपूर्ण रिलेशन के लिए जरुरी हैं कि हम अपने अहंकार(Ego) को साइड में रखे और अपने स्वयं के हिस्से के लिए व्यक्तिगत ज़िम्मेदारी को ध्यान में रखे।
एक दूसरे को दोषी ठहराने से दोनों का नुकसान होता हैं और अपने रिलेशन भी खराब हो जाते हैं।
दोस्तों परिवार में दूसरे की जीत भी अपनी जीत होती हैं। अगर हम बहस करके दूसरे सदस्य को नीचा दिखा दे, ये उसकी हार नहीं बल्कि आपकी हार हैं।
इसीलिए परिवार को तोडना नहीं जोड़ना सीखे, ऐसा करने से आप एक खुशहाल और शांति पूर्ण परिवार का हिस्सा बन जायेंगे।
17.✏️संसार की रीत – एक चित्रकार
एक बार की बात हैं एक शहर में एक बहुत ही मशहूर चित्रकार रहता था।
एक दिन उस चित्रकार ने एक बहुत खूबसूरत तस्वीर बनाई और उसे शहर के बीच चौराहे पर लगा दिया और नीचे लिखा कि जिसको जहाँ भी इस तस्वीर में कोई कमी नजर आये तो वो वहाँ निशान लगा दे।
जब शाम को चित्रकार वापस वहां गया और तस्वीर देखी। वो स्तब्ध रह गया क्योंकि उसकी पूरी तस्वीर निशानों से ख़राब हो चुकी थी।
उसे यह सब देखकर बहुत दुख हुआ।
उसे कुछ भी समझ नहीं आ रहा था कि अब वो क्या करे। वह दुःखी बैठा हुआ था।
तभी चित्रकार का एक दोस्त वहाँ से गुजरा।
उसके दोस्त ने पूछा,”दोस्त क्या हुआ, इतना दुखी क्यो बैठे हो।”
तब चित्रकार ने सारी घटना दोस्त को बता दी।
तब दोस्त ने कहा,”एक काम करो कल एक ओर तस्वीर बनाना और उस पर लिखना कि जिसको भी इस तस्वीर मे जहाँ कहीं भी कोई कमी दिखे, उसे सही कर दे।”
अगले दिन चित्रकार ने ऐसा ही किया।
उस शाम को जब उसने अपनी तस्वीर देखी तो उसने देखा कि तस्वीर पर किसी ने कुछ नहीं किया, तस्वीर वेसी की वेसी थी।
अब चित्रकार संसार की रीति समझ चुका था। वह जान गया कि “कमी निकालना, निंदा करना, दुसरो की बुराई करना आसान हैं लेकिन उन कमियों को दूर करना अत्यधिक कठिन होता हैं।”
दोस्तो हमे अपनी एनर्जी को दूसरों की बुराई करने में या उनमे कमिया निकलने में बर्बाद नही करना चाहिए। अपनी एनर्जी को रचनात्मक कार्यो में लगाये।
अगर कमिया निकालनी ही है तो अपनी कमिया निकालो ओर उन्हें दूर करने का प्रयास करो।
18. शांति की शक्ति
एक बार एक किसान ने अपने खलिहान में काम करते हुए अपनी कीमती घड़ी खो दी। यह दूसरों के लिए एक सामान्य घड़ी के रूप में प्रकट हो सकता है, लेकिन इसके लिए एक गहरी भावुक मूल्य रखा गया है।

थोड़ी देर के बाद जब छोटा लड़का हाथ में घड़ी लेकर बाहर आया। किसान खुशी से आश्चर्यचकित था और पूछा कि लड़का कैसे घड़ी पाने में सफल रहा जबकि उसके सहित सभी लोग असफल रहे।
लड़के ने जवाब दिया “मैं वहीं बैठा था जो घड़ी की टिक-टिक को सुन रहा था। मौन में, इसे सुनना और ध्वनि की दिशा में खोज को निर्देशित करना बहुत आसान था। ”
किसान को घड़ी मिलने की खुशी थी और उसने छोटे लड़के को वादा किया था।
एक शांत दिमाग काम करने वाले दिमाग से बेहतर सोच सकता है। एक बार थोड़ी देर के लिए अपने मन को कुछ मिनट का मौन रखें। कभी-कभी आपको बस इतना करना चाहिए कि आप आराम करें और सुनें।

The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. However, the waters close to Japan have not held many fishes for decades.
The fishermen, therefore, had to go further out to sea to catch their supply of fish and the fishing boat got bigger and bigger. Farther the fishermen went to procure fishes, longer it took them to bring the fishes in. So by the time they reached the market, the fishes were no longer fresh.
To solve this problem, fishermen installed freezers on their boats. They would freeze the caught fishes in it. This helped in preserving the fishes for a longer period of time, but the freshness, as the Japanese desired, could not be retained. The price of frozen fishes started going down.
Then, the worried fishermen installed fish tanks. They would catch fish and keep them in the tanks, fin to fin. The fishes would thrash around a little but stopped moving afterwards. They were not dead, only tired and dull. Unfortunately, dull and sluggish fish did not taste fresh.
So how did the Japanese fishermen solve the problem? To keep the fishes fresh and lively throughout the journey, the fishermen added a small shark in their tanks. The shark would eat a few fish, but the remaining ones were in a lively state when they reached the market. The shark created a challenge for the fishes and kept them active throughout the journey.
Life gets dull when we live too easily, when we live without challenges. It is the challenges that help us grow and keep us lively. So we should consider the problems and challenges as motivators for moving forward in life. Without challenges, we become complacent, life becomes boring and purposeless
2. Help of God
Two friends Rohan and Sandeep lived in a village. Rohan was of a highly religious religious tendency. And he believed that God would do all his work. On the other hand, Sandeep used to work very hard.
Once both of them bought some land on which both of them thought of growing the crop together.
Now Sandeep used to work hard in the field all day but Rohan does not do any work, he would only go to the temple and pray to God for a good harvest.

Rohan also picked up the sack from the temple and brought it back to the chief's house. Rohan was confident that God would have done his work.

Rohan also opened his sack with full confidence, but his sack had stones like rice in it. Did not clean it at all.

The perplexed students began to do what they had been asked to do.
At the end of the class, the professor took all the answer papers and started reading each one of them aloud in front of all the students. All of them with no exceptions described the black dot, trying to explain its position in the middle of the sheet, etc. After all had been read, the classroom silent, the professor began to explain:
“I am not going to grade you on this test; I just wanted to give you something to think about. No one wrote about the white part of the paper. Everyone focused on the black dot – and the same happens in our lives. This is exactly what we end to do with our lives. We have a white paper to hold onto and enjoy ,but we are so busy contemplating about the dark spots that’s in there. Life is a special gift and we will always have reasons to celebrate. It is changing and renewing everyday- our friends, jobs, livelihood, love, family, the miracles we see every day.”
And yet we insist on focusing only on the dark spots – the health issues that are bothering us, the money that we need to have, the luxuries we don’t have, complications in any relationship, problems with a family member, the disappointment with a friend and so on.
You need to realize that the dark spots are very small and only few. And yet we allow these to pollute our minds.
Take your eyes away from the black spots in your life. Enjoy each one of your blessings, each moment that life gives you.

7.🦅THE FALCON AND THE BRANCH🌲
Once a king received two magnificent peregrine falcons as a gift from one of his vassal state. They were the most beautiful birds he has ever seen. Though the Falcons were still quite young at the time, they were beautiful specimens groomed for keeping in his court specifically. The king called the head falconer and handed the two beautiful birds to be trained.
The falconer trained the birds for months. But one day the falconer informed the king that one of the falcons was flying and soaring high in the sky while the other has not moved from its branch since the day it had arrived.
“I’ve never come across a bird as stubborn as this before,” the trainer complained to the king. He went on to describe how the creature ignored, refused and stubbornly lashed out at his every attempt. “May be there is something wrong with this bird. It just won’t fly.”said the trainer. The falconer was one of the best in the land, his talents widely lauded by all who knew him. So, the king decided to give the trainer some more time to make the bird fly.
Months passed but the falcon never moved from the branch. The kings summoned all healers, sorcerers and other trainers from all the land to make the falcon fly. But none of them succeeded and the bird did not move from its perch.
One day a farmer was passing by the palace and heard about the stubborn falcon who wouldn’t fly. He thought he would give a try to make the bird fly.
Having tried everything else, the king was desperate to make the bird fly, so he allowed the farmer attempt to make the bird fly.
The next morning while the king was thrilled to see the two magnificent birds soaring high in the sky from his balcony.
The king did not witness the feat himself, so he had the farmer brought before him to answer to his questions.
“I would like to know your secret,” the King said. “Tell me, how did you, achieve what the most highly trained, intuitive and wise men could not? How did you make the falcon fly?”
The farmer peered up from beneath his brow. “It was actually quite simple, your highness. I just cut the branch on which the bird was perched.”
We all are made to fly. But at times we we sit on to our branches, clinging to the things familiar to us and never attempting for a change. The possibilities in the world are endless, but most of it remains undiscovered because we never attempt to go beyond our comfort zone. We conform to the familiar, the comfortable, and the mundane. We need to go outside of our comfort zone, destroy the branch of fear we cling to and free ourselves to the glory of flight!
8.✍️ No work is small or big
Once upon a time, the Guru was going far away with his disciples. The path was long, everyone was tired of walking. Now he wished to rest, but if he rested, it would have been more night to reach the destination. So those people were constantly on the move. On the way came a brook which had to be taken a long leap to cross. All the people took a long jump and crossed the drain. But Guruji's kamandal fell in that stream. Troubled by all the disciples, a disciple Gopal went to find the scavenger to take out the kamandal. The other disciples sat and started worrying, planning how to get out this kamandal?
" Master started getting upset"
Because Guruji taught everyone the lesson of self-reliance. No disciple is implementing his Sikh. By the end, nobody really stepped forward to do that work, seeing that Guru Ji was quite upset. A disciple got up and saw Madan putting his hand in the drain, but the kamandal did not appear. Because he had reached the bottom of the drain, then Madan, while handling his clothes, landed in the drain and immediately came up with a kamandal.
Guru ji praised and greatly appreciated his disciple Madan, he immediately executed the work and worked on the lesson taught by the Guru. Then the disciple Gopal who had gone to find the cleaning worker also came, he was aware of his mistake.
No task is small or big, one must do his own work.
Despite being in any crisis, help from other people should be taken at least.
9.🎎THE PERFECT PORTRAIT🎎
Once there lived a brave king. He fought many battles and won many of them. Unfortunately, in one of the most important battles for his country, he was badly wounded. The king lived to relish the victory of the battle but lost an eye and a leg.
One day the king saw the paintings of some brave kings from the past. “ I should have one for myself too, then I will be remembered for my bravery for years to come” thought the king. He called for all the great painters in the country and asked them to paint a beautiful portrait of him.
“ Who will paint my portrait?”, asked the king. But, none of the painters dared to accept the task of painting the king’s portrait. They couldn’t think of any way they could make the one eye and one legged king look beautiful. “ How could we include such defects of the king in the painting and make him look beautiful. ”, they all thought. A bad painting would make the king angry and non of them wanted to suffer from the wrath of the great king.
But one courageous painter agreed to take the challenge of drawing the king’s portrait. He drew a beautiful classic picture of the king. It was a fantastic piece of art. Everyone was surprised how beautifully he presented the king in the portrait.
He painted the king aiming for a hunt with an eye closed and a leg bent.
Indeed, it was a beautiful portrait.
How beautiful the world will look if we could ignore others weakness and celebrate their strength. The world will be more beautiful if you ignore the flaws in others and see their strength.
10.✍️PURPOSE OF LIFE👉🏻
Once upon a time, there lived a wise man. He was the head of the local administration of a small village. Everyone respected him and his views and opinions were well regarded. Many people came to him seeking for advice.
His son, however, was very lazy and wasted his time sleeping and spending time with his friends. No amount of advice or threat made any difference to him. He wouldn’t change at all.
The years passed, and with time faded the youth of the wise man. As he grew older, he began to worry about his son’s future. He recognized the need to give something to his son so that he can take care of himself and his family to be.
One day, he called his son to his room and said-“My son, you are no more a kid now. You must learn to take responsibilities and understand life.”
“I want you to find the real purpose of your life and when you find it remember it always and you will lead a life full of happiness and joy.”
Then he handed his son a bag. When the son opened the bag, he was surprised to see 4 pair of clothes, one for each season. There also were some raw food, grains, lentils, little money and a map. His father continued-“I want you to go find a treasure. I have drawn a map of the place where the treasure is hidden, you need to go and find it.”
The son loved this idea. The next day, he eagerly set out on a journey to find the treasure. He had to travel really far across borders, forests, plateaus and mountains.
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. Along the way, he met a lot of people. He was helped by some with food and by some with shelter. He also came across robbers who tried to rob him.
Slowly the season changed and so did the landscapes along with it. When the weather was unpleasant, he halted for the day and continued his journey when the weather cleared.
Finally, after a long year, he reached his destination. It was a cliff. The map showed the treasure being placed below the cliff under the tree. Upon spotting the tree, he began to dig the ground. He searched and searched- around it, under it, on it- but found nothing. He spent two days looking and digging for the treasure. By the third day, he was so exhausted that he decided to leave.
Disappointed over his father’s lie, he headed back to his home. On his way back, he experienced the same changing landscapes and seasons. This time, however, he halted to enjoy the blooming flowers in spring and the dancing birds in monsoon. He stayed in places only to watch the sun set in paradise or to enjoy pleasant summer evenings.
Since, the supplies he carried were over by then, he learned to hunt and make arrangement for his meals. He also learned how to sew his clothes and shelter himself. He was now able to determine the hour of the day by the position of the sun and plan his journey accordingly. He also learned how to protect himself from wild animals.
He met the same people who had helped him earlier. This time he stayed a few days with them and helped them in some or the other way to repay them. He realized how nice they were to an ordinary passerby who had nothing to offer to them in return.
When he reached home, he realized it had been two years since he left the place. He walked straight into his father’s room. “Father”, – He said
The father immediately jumped to his feet and hugged his son.
“So how was your journey my son, did you find the treasure” he asked.
“The journey was fascinating father. But forgive me for I wasn’t able to find the treasure. Maybe somebody took it before I reached.” He surprised himself by what he just said. He wasn’t angry at his father. Instead, he was asking for forgiveness.
“There wasn’t’ any treasure in the very first place my son”-father answered smiling.
“But why did you send me to find it then”, he asked.
“I will surely tell you why, but first you tell me, how was your journey to the place? Did you enjoy it?”
“Of course not father! I had no time. I was worried someone else would find the treasure before I did. I was in a hurry to reach the cliff.” He continued-“but I did enjoy the journey on my way back home. I made many friends and witnessed miracles every day. I learned so many different skills and the art of survival. There was so much I learnt that it made me forget the pain of not finding the treasure.”
The father said to him- “Exactly my son. Want you to lead your life with a goal. But if you remain too focused on the goal, then you will miss out the real treasures of life. The truth is, life has no goal at all, other than to just experience it and grow with it every single day.”
Moral of this story:
It is when we set out in life without trying to associate any meaning or greater purpose to it that we find the treasure of true joy in each moment.
11.THE OLD FISHERMAN
Our house was directly across the street from the entrance of a popular hospital in the city. We lived downstairs and rented the upstairs rooms to out patients at the clinic. One summer evening as I was fixing supper, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see a truly awful looking man.
“Why, he’s hardly taller than my eight-year-old,” I thought as I stared at the stooped, shriveled body. But the appalling thing was his face–lopsided from swelling, red and raw. Yet his voice was pleasant as he said, “Good evening. I’ve come to see if you’ve a room for just one night. I came for a treatment this morning from the eastern shore, and there’s no bus ’till the morning.”
He told me he’d been hunting for a room since noon but he had no success as no one seemed to have a room. “I guess it’s my face. I know it looks terrible, but my doctor says with a few more treatments…”
For a moment I hesitated, but his next words convinced me: “I could sleep in this rocking chair on the porch. My bus leaves early in the morning.” I told him we would find him a bed, but to rest on the porch.
I went inside and finished getting supper. When we were ready, I asked the old man if he would join us “No thank you. I have plenty.” And he held up a brown paper bag. When I had finished the dishes, I went out on the porch to talk with him a few minutes.
It didn’t take a long time to see that this old man had an oversized heart crowded into that tiny body. He told me he fished for a living to support his daughter, her five children, and her husband, who was hopelessly crippled from a back injury.
He didn’t tell it by way of complaint; in fact, every other sentence was prefaced with a thanks to God for a blessing. He was grateful that no pain accompanied his disease, which was apparently a form of skin cancer. He thanked God for giving him the strength to keep going.
At bedtime, we put a camp cot in the children’s room for him. When I got up in the morning, the bed linens were neatly folded and the little man was out on the porch. He refused breakfast, but just before he left for his bus, haltingly, as if asking a great favor, he said, “Could I please come back and stay the next time I have a treatment? I won’t put you out a bit. I can sleep fine in a chair.”
He paused a moment and then added, “Your children made me feel at home. Grownups are bothered by my face, but children don’t seem to mind.” I told him he was welcome to come again.
On his next trip he arrived a little after seven in the morning. As a gift, he brought a big fish and a quart of the largest oysters I had ever seen. He said he had shucked them that morning before he left so that they’d be nice and fresh. I knew his bus left at 4:00 a.m. and I wondered what time he had to get up in order to do this for us.
In the years he came to stay overnight with us there was never a time that he did not bring us fish or oysters or vegetables from his garden. Other times we received packages in the mail, always by special delivery; fish and oysters packed in a box of fresh young spinach or kale, every leaf carefully washed.
Knowing that he must walk three miles to mail these, and knowing how little money he had made the gifts more precious. When I received these little remembrances, I often thought of a comment our next-door neighbor made after he left that first morning. “Did you keep that awful looking man last night? I turned him away! You can lose roomers by putting up such people!”
Maybe we did lose roomers once or twice. But oh! If only they could have known him, perhaps their illnesses would have been easier to bear. I know our family always will be grateful to have known him; from him we learned what it was to accept the bad without complaint and the good with gratitude.
12. eagles and chicken
There was a banyan tree in a forest. A eagle lived in a nest on the tree where he laid eggs. A wild hen had laid eggs under the same tree. One day one of the eggs of that eagle dropped down and got into the eggs of the chicken.
Time elapsed and the eagle child came out of that egg and he grew up thinking that he is a chicken. He grew up with the henna's banky children. He does the same things that a hen does. He would murmur like a chicken, dig the ground and feed the grain and it would fly as high as a chicken.
One day he saw a eagle in the sky which was flying with great grace. He asked his hen mother, what is the name of the bird that is flying so high. The hen replied he is a eagle. Then the eagle's child asked, "Mother, why can't I fly so high?" Hen said you cannot fly so high because you are a chicken. He obeyed the hen and died one day while living the hen.
Learn from the story:
Whatever we think or try something new, others stop us by saying that you cannot do this, it cannot happen and we change our mind thinking that I really cannot do it and give up Let's take it.
The main reason for this is lack of trust in yourself, lack of trust in your powers, lack of confidence in your work. Friends, what people say, let people say it is their job to say, trust in yourself, identify yourself. Friends, even if victory is certain, cowards also fight, they are called brave, who are sure to lose, yet do not leave the field!
13. Brave Girl
A very cute girl was born in Paliganj village in Patna district of Bihar. The girl was very beautiful, her parents or relatives celebrated the birth, there was a festive atmosphere in the house. But some relatives listened to the birth of the girl and then started criticizing the girl, the girl was named 'Vidushi' on the basis of her form and beauty.

He did not give up due to lack of funds, he also passed the law / law examination from the college. There was a twist in Vidushi's life when she was going by train to take an exam. On the way, anti-social elements attacked the train. When Vidushi strongly opposed this, the bandits pushed her down from the train. With this act, one of his legs got hit by the train.
Despite this, Vidushi did not lose courage and continued to move forward. Vidushi continued to work hard throughout his life, not relying on his destiny. 14.✍️The Elephant Rope
When walking through an elephant camp, a man noticed that the elephants were only secured with a small rope that was tied around one ankle. He wondered why the elephants didn’t break free from the rope, as the elephants were certainly strong enough to do so.
He asked a trainer why the elephants didn’t try to break free, and the trainer responded by saying that they use the same size rope for baby elephants all the way up to adulthood. Because they’re too small when they’re babies to break free from the rope, they grow up being conditioned that the rope is stronger than they are. As adults, they think the rope can still hold them, so they don’t try to fight it.
Moral of the story:
The elephants in this case are experiencing learned helplessness. This phenomenon occurs when someone has been conditioned to anticipate discomfort in some way without having a way to avoid it or make it stop. After enough conditioning, the person will stop any attempts to avoid the pain, even if they see an opportunity to escape.
If you go through life thinking that you can’t do something just because you have failed at doing it in the past, you’re living with a fixed mindset. You have to let go of your limiting beliefs in order to make the breakthroughs that are required for your ultimate success. Don’t let other people tell you that you can’t do something, and don’t hold onto an assumption that you can’t grow and learn from past failures.
15.🔥TWO FROGS AND A CHALLENGE🔥
A group of frogs were hopping around in one fine afternoon while two of them suddenly fell into a pit. When the other frogs at the top saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that it would be impossible for them to come out of it. For a while, both the frogs ignored the comments and tried with all their might to jump out of the pit. The other frogs kept telling them that their attempts are of no good and they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the frogs outside the pit were saying and gave up. It fell deeper down the pit and met his death.
The other frog continued his attempt to jump out of the pit. Once again, the other frogs yelled at it to stop the pain and accept his death. He tried even harder and finally jumped out of the pit. Every other frogs were amazed when he got out of the pit. “ Did you not hear us?”, asked one of the frogs. One of the other frogs explained that the frog who won over, his battle with death was actually deaf. The deaf frog smiled and said, “ thank you my friends. I couldn’t have come out of the pit without you encouraging and cheering me all the time while I was in it”
Moral: Words are very powerful weapon. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Words have the potential to produce positive or negative consequences. Words have catalyzed and stirred the nations into revolution and triumph, and with a single word, the nations have succumbed to nothing. However, one good, edifying word brings joy and hope to those who need it most. So be careful of what you speak. Speak life to those who cross your path.
16. Family
The two families lived in each other's neighborhood. One family used to fight all the time while the other family lived peacefully and friendly.
One day, the wife of the quarrelsome family, feeling jealous of the quiet neighbor family, said to her husband, "Go to your neighbor's house and see what they do to live so well."
The husband went there, and hid silently.
He saw a woman mopping the floor. Suddenly, when she heard some sound from the kitchen, she went to the kitchen.
Then her husband ran towards a room. Due to his lack of attention, all the water of the bucket fell on the floor due to stumbling from the bucket on the floor.

17.Ansara's way - a painter
Once upon a time there used to be a very famous painter in a city.
One day that painter made a very beautiful picture and placed it at the crossroads between the city and wrote below that wherever there is any deficiency in this picture, it should be marked there.
When in the evening the painter went back there and saw the picture. He was stunned as his entire picture was shattered by the marks.
He was very sad to see all this.
He could not understand what to do now. He was sitting grieving.
Then a friend of the painter passed by there.
His friend asked, "What happened friend, why are you so sad?"
Then the painter told the whole incident to a friend.
Then the friend said, "Do one thing tomorrow, make a picture on one side and write on it that whoever finds any deficiency in this picture, correct it."
The next day the painter did the same.
When he saw his picture that evening, he saw that no one did anything on the picture, the picture was Vesey's.
Now the painter had understood the way of the world. He realized that "it is easy to draw shortcomings, condemn, misjudge others, but those shortcomings are very difficult to overcome."
Friends, we should not waste our energy in doing evil to others or to earn a lot of loss in them. Put your energy into creative work.
If you have to remove a lot, then take out your work and try to remove them.
18.🙊THE POWER OF SILENCE 🙊
Once a farmer lost his precious watch while working in his barn. It may have appeared as an ordinary watch to others, but held a deep sentimental value for it.
After searching high and low among the hay for a long time, the old farmer got exhausted. The tired farmer did not want to give up the search for his watch and requested a group of children playing outside the barn to help. He promised an attractive reward for the person who can find his beloved watch.
After hearing about the reward, the children hurried inside the barn and went through and round the entire stack of hay to find the watch. After a long time looking for a watch in the hay, some of the children got tired and gave up. The number of children looking for the watch slowly decreased and only few tired children were left. The farmer gave up all his hope to find the watch and called off the search.
Just when the farmer was closing the door, a little boy came up to him and requested the farmer to give him another chance. The farmer did not want to miss any chance of finding the watch so let the little boy in the barn.
After a w little while the little boy came out with the watch in his hand. The farmer was happily surprised and asked how the boy succeeded to get the watch while everyone including him had failed.
The boy replied “ I just sat there tried listening to the ticking of the watch. In silence, it was much easier to listen to it and direct the search in the direction of the sound.”
The farmer was delighted to get the watch and rewarded the little boy as promised.
A peaceful mind can think better than a worked up mind. Once in a while allow a few minutes of silence to your mind. Sometimes all you need is to do is relax and listen.
